It’s so much smaller and it’s type c!! Honestly profoto should learn from this product. Well designed and amazing.
Great product, came in time for my trip to the USA so collected it from my partners house. Just as expected and works great! Giving me the ability to charge my Profoto A series flashes on the move from PowerBanks etc.. Thanks again iWata.
Haven’t used it yet but the fact it’s the only usbc charge out there automatically makes it 5Stars what was protfoto thinking?
Based on positive reviews, I ordered the battery charger. It works as designed. It even warned of a faulty battery indicating that further charging would not be continued. I then placed the faulty battery in the stock Profoto A series charger. That charger quickly charged the battery in under a minute before the green light came on. I inserted the battery into my A1X. The battery failed to keep the flash powered. The flash kept turning off and refused to stay powered on. The battery was indeed dead. I highly recommend the slimmer iwata battery charger for Profoto A series batteries.
Was sceptical at first. Changed my mind after reading some positive reviews. This charger will change my event photography forever. No more seeking an a/c outlet in banquet halls where some managers prohibit photographers from their use. This charger is highly recommended.

This is a really nice charger to travel with. Being able to charge with USB and bring fewer cable is great.

As far as I know, this is the only charger in the world that can charge Profoto A-series batteries via USB-C. When I tried using my own USB-C charger and mobile battery, It was able to charge without any problems. This is a very good product. I highly recommend it.
If you're looking for a backup to your profoto battery charger that's smaller and has a USB-C charger, this is the one. I like everything about it but the price.
Really fantastic! Being able to charge A2/1 strobes by USB-C makes everything so easy! I hope you can make a B10 battery USB charger one day too! It will be amazing! Cheers from Japan!
Fast and good
So much to love about this recharger unit. It is small and compact, perfect for my travel bag. that i can use the plug as I do for other electronic gear makes it even better. I have not attempt to tie for a full recharge, but it appears to be the same or better.
